I posted this on TheDonald but I think it is even more relevant here:
If you contributed to a bunch of subs on reddit, make sure you delete your posts before leaving the site. If you feel you still need contribute to subs (even if you don't want to admit it) then wait until the thread is inactive and delete your posts. I actually go one step further and edit my post with gibberish before deleting it. I have been doing this for over a year. I contributed helpful answers on tech related subs. If someone searches for an answer to something I don't want my posts coming up.
Some of you will continue to use reddit. If you must please do the above and also see my post here: https://thedonald.win/p/EMHl/dont-give-the-tech-giants-free-a/
For those of you with a long post history, there are extensions that will do the work for you. I have been deleting as I go along for over a year so I never needed one, but a quick search turned this up: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nuke-reddit-history/aclagjkmidmkcdhkhlicmgkgmpgccaod I'm sure there are more and for different browsers, so if you have one you like please post it.
EDIT: User 1776-or-1984 found this helpful tool:
very valuable advice. This should be stickied and reposted often in each new Don Jr.
It probably even needs a repost in TheDonald for all the new Pedes.
I second that, followed the steps too, no issue here!
I think we call them SubDonalds
My bet is that they'll call them "wins" to be fair to everyone
They are .wins
I would support that, but wins is subtle and not exclusively tied to The President. Seems the staff thought this through and wins works well, because winning!
.wins
That's funny that you mention deleting as you go. I do the same thing. It burned me only one time when I was unjustly banned from of all places The_Donald. When a sensible mod tried to review my history there wasn't one and that was used as evidence of bad faith. But I still do it every few days.
Is there a nuke reddit version that will let me pick which ones to nuke? Or one that will allow me to download my post history?
I just did a quick search and I couldn't find anything. I think you will have to delete it manually.

basically.. anything you've posted could turn up in a search engine search result, could be clicked on, and could help drive traffic to reddit. The content YOU created.
its better to edit content to garbage vs deleting, but I can't remember why, probably indexing penalities or something.
Byotiful
Most of my comments for the last year have been me calling people retarded. I prefer to leave those
Best answer. ^^^
I used this, its pretty automated, and holds your hand throughout, asking what you want to delete.

This is great! Added it to the topic comment. Thanks!
Thank you for that link. I went ahead and cleared all my posts from any sub that could be considered political before nuking the account.
I'll miss the BOTW and Naruto subs, but this is the way it had to be.
There are sites/bots that grab everyone's reddit posts before they're deleted so this won't help.
It helps by not having your posts show up in reddit search results. Don't give them any useful content that you created.
Reddit deleted most of my history for me.
