I decided to practice what I preach and set up a new federated, censorship-resistant online community for members of KiA as well as any general enthusiasts of gaming and nerd culture. Feel free to sign up and spread the word.

OP here. To be honest I wasn't expecting many people to see this as the .win site looks a lot more inactive than the subreddit. I didn't really have any intentions to involve this with the "official" KIA team, but if you'd like I could explain to you what exactly this "Fediverse" stuff is. (And why you honestly should use it over Reddit IMHO.) :)
Not sure what is going on with the site not showing your replies - they do show in my inbox, and my own comment appears to be showing properly. Looks like there are some community-wide issues on and off over the last few days still causing problems.
I am aware of what the Fediverse is, and Soapbox. I'm just making clear that this has nothing to do with us, since you've got that info kind of buried in the FAQ link at the bottom of your front page, where most users are unlikely to look.
As far as the activity on this site, it's most definitely a lot less active because we operate this as a lifeboat, not a primary site, since our subreddit remains active despite the best attempts of some rabid sjws (and our former top mod) to see us shut down.
Yeah sorry about the FAQ thing. I would of put it in the "About" page but with the way my hosting situation is working right now, I can't edit that section manually so it's just blank and I had to improvise. If I could, I would also allow users to more easily see posts and timelines without having to log in. I think the Fediverse is something that would be very beneficial to a lot of the users of KIA (and a LOT more than centralized censorious Reddit), so I created this unofficial community as a jumping off point.
