Words are words and we have freedom of speech. Unfortunately in politics everything a candidate's supporters say can be used against the candidate, unless you're a democrat. I think that's why "no racism" is a rule on T_D.
We wouldn't say it anyways unless it was in a friendly matter as when black people say it to their own friends. There are plenty of black users on TD. You are correct. TD.Win is constantly being watched and we must uphold a standard of American Patriotism. We love all Americans that love American values. Any sort of percieved bigotry would become an obstacle for our message.
That makes sense. Banning a word seems draconian, but then, I imagine that simplifies the moderation like 10x. Seems reasonable now that I think of it.
Pretty much. We get brigaded by lots of commies that like to pose as Trump supporters just to post some egregious shit and turn around and point to our movement as racist. We can't allow that because we need to win an election. The media is always looking for an excuse to call us bigots.
We cannot give them definitive proof of their false claims. The blatant lies of the left's media has fostered an environment where the majority of Americans are untrusting of them. The common sense rational American citizen can understand nuance when discussing controversial topics. Remember, Twitter and Reddit are not reality and does not represent the average American.
If we allow outright and blatant racism on our platform, it reflects negatively on not only our base, but the POTUS himself.
Wait wait. TD bans for saying nigger? I mean I don't often need to. But that seems odd.
It's in our rules on TD. It was the same on Reddit.
No Racism
No racism, including slurs, non-factual content, and general unfounded bigotry.

They will still call us racists, even after we move to a separate platform and choose to continue to not allow racism.
