I played modded a bit back in the day, Direwolf pack and Agrarian Skies. I am liking vanilla now with the new nether and various tweaks and changes. Vanilla feels closer to when I played modded, so if you don't like mods from 5+ years ago you may not like vanilla now. I started following Hermitcraft (xisuma, goodtimeswithscar, ethoslab, and mumbo jumbo are good channels) to see what vanilla offers now. They do have a couple of mods, but it's not that intrusive.
Discussion about the survival horror game
SURVIVAL HORROR GAME
This game should not even be mentioned in same genres as actual horror games like Silent Hill, Clocktower, Dead Space, Amnesia, or Resident Evil. What the fuck about this game is horror?? They barely remember that it is a zombie apocalypse half the time when you're running or hunting actual people.
From watching my husband play TLOU 1; there isn't much actual exploring going on. You go from point to point along a linear path. Sure you can find another way, but it's only a couple of rooms difference and you need to go through all of them anyway to find resources.
I'm juggling a few games at the moment. Working on Minecraft vanilla survival with frens (1.16.1 is sweet), playing Vermintide 2 cause it was cheap, Pokemon Cafe Mix on mobile, and I just finished the demo for Nekopara.
Still unsure about getting Nekopara, VNs are not my usual style.
Augh, Pokemon Cafe Mix is getting rough in Master level. I'm mad I tore through so fast before the Scorbunny release. Now I can only finish 1 or 2 levels a day and that probably won't be enough to get Scorbunny in time.
I normally only buy on Steam, but this I plan to buy on their site, GoG, to give them money directly. If they piss me off with the next few months they will go to the Steam wishlist bin of "maybe if someone gifts it" games.
What about a smaller display case? Don't they make cases for individual minis?
