Freedom of speech isn't limited by your definition of rational discussion. If mods actually care about freedom of speech, they wouldn't censor criticism.
I'm not going to read a ten chapter splurging blog. If you can't consolidate it, it's probably not worth suggesting to others.
Edit: I should say, I'm not going to read it as a prerequisite to posting. I've saved it, maybe I'll read it later, maybe I won't. But if you actually care about informing people, linking that is a bad way to do it.
Who decides if someone is holding discussion or trying to prevent it? Often legitimate discussion is labeled gaslighting or trolling. Do you really trust mods to be able to discern the difference?
