As big tech works on creating an alternative to English have they considered coming up with an alternative to any other languages or is it just English they hate?
It's ridiculous because a lot of these are used because they're useful terms. A slave server literally belongs to and is controlled by the master server; we can't just throw out language because the things we do to machines are bad to do to people.
It's all explained all in Chapter 4 of the novel 1984, iirc, where one of the characters describes the watering down of English into a new language called Newspeak as a method of control so that it becomes impossible to have the words to express anything that is contrary to the will of the state.
