So to start I’m well aware that not everyone loved the new seasons of MST3K, but I enjoyed them overall (and some more specifically).

So some people here may know of MST3K but are unaware of the utter fucking majestic joy of Rifftrax. This is the single best production idea I’ve ever seen for the former cast of MST3K, they riff the movies and sell the Rifftrax which you can play with your phone as the movie plays.

This allows them to riff newer movies without having to pay out the nose for showing the film.

So, watched any of it? Old or new MST3K, Rifftrax… tell us about what you’ve seen and enjoyed.

And for those interested Shout Factory has a youtube with full MST3k episodes, MST3k also has a twitch channel doing the same and Amazon Prime video has a rotating selection of a fair number of rifftrax.

As this shall be the first of these we've done here I'll start by explaining before I get lazy and simply copy another mod's work.

As some thing are poorly fit to post about in a sub with a focus we've been running a weekly post on some random topics over on Reddit. Since we're here we will be doing the same here.

So this week's topic, Virtual Reality

This week for discussions we are going to talk about VR and what people are doing with it. Playing video games, VR chatting, watching movies, whatever else is done on there.

Personally I've not done anything VR since sometime in the 90's where I played something in a arcade at Cedar Point... so let me ask those who do play with it, is it worth it?
