They won't do it. There was an argument several years back that AAA games should be $100, but they aren't because microtransactions were making up the difference, thereby justifying them.
Plus, this is EA we're talking about. They're gonna squeeze for as much money as they can.
Console games are already 70+ bucks if you don't live in the heart of corpoglobohomo regions (USA, West Europe, East Asia). Elsewhere just about everyone is either a generation behind, or games on the PC.
If they were willing to give up microtransactions in full priced games in trade for this I would happily accept it.
