This person seems mentally unstable. Bipolar, maybe? I dunno. Either way, the replies...

You threatened a woman and her kid and wished death on her parents

Unless there was another twit not included, I'm not seeing that? The twits that Laura blanked out all had different avatars, so they weren't from the same account. Though, about the intelligence I expect from the average bluecheck.

This doesn't excuse your actions

Remember, apologies are never good enough, even when it is something you should apologize for (telling someone they should die).

Laura accepted the apology... Ya know, like how a mature adult should act. People can stop white knighting for her now...

I believe /pol/ tried to turn the pride flag into a hate symbol (the color stripes are all separate but equal, and not blending together), but it didn't catch on.

My theory is that they actually know how it happened, but don't want to admit they were wrong.

Bingo. The most common trait I see amongst SJWs and journalists is narcissism. Their over-inflated egos simply will not allow them to admit they were wrong about something. To do so would be too big of a hit to their pride. They rather "look right" than actually be right about something.

Given Sony's hard stance on censoring sexual content (at least from Japanese games, since they had no issue with the nudity and sex in TLoU2), censoring stuff that even Nintendo allows, it made the PS5 a hard pass for me.

If I ever get a PS5, it won't be until a remodel (where they make it smaller and not look like a router/air purifier/etc), and it'll be used. No way I'm giving Sony any money directly anymore.

For the uninitiated, a 4chan hoax to turn the "okay" gesture into a hate symbol has actually worked, with people now genuinely using it to represent "white power."

You're so close to being right, then you steer completely into the wing direction and drive off a cliff.

I seriously doubt anyone has actually used ? to represent white power. But then again, I don't know or pay attention to any actual white supremacists, because fuck 'em.

Your line of thought should have began and ended with "it was a 4chan hoax/prank", and that's it. Of course, that would pretty much have to admit that your kind (journalists, NPCs, etc) fell for it easily because you're starving to report on "hate crimes" to show how evil you think white people are.

What can I say, but #FuckSony.

I don't like Facebook any more than I like Twitter (which I don't like at all), but this campaign forcing them to censor its users further is ridiculous.

How old is this? Is this retconning older material?

Either way, sounds really silly.

Hmm... As communities.win is a Reddit-like message board, could this be seen as an anti-competitive move?

We used Teams for a bit at my company, and no one liked it. The company switched back to Slack after only a month or two using Teams.

Slack has a dark theme now (after years of people begging for it), btw.

bad faith claims of discrimination

Ah, the old excuse of "bad faith"... Where you can simply claim that someone who disagrees with you isn't being serious because it doesn't comply with your worldview.

Yeah, no. Screw Reddit. I have zero confidence that this policy won't be abused for getting rid of more wrongthinkers.

Every single time...

Frankly, I'd like to see MikeZ snap and get tired of the drama being flung at him, especially since it's over a game he helped create. He needs to wake up and smell the bullshit, realizing he's never going to be able to please these poisonous crybullies, especially if he wants to have a mind of his own.

People have a breaking point where they've taken too much crap... It's just higher for some than for others. I think it's a question of when, not if, Mike will push back.

Still hooked on Animal Crossing. Glad that they keep updating it with new features (even if it was stuff that was in previous games).

Haven't touched the Pokémon or Smash DLC yet, so I wanna revisit those sometime soon.

Also liking Clubhouse Games 51. Yeah, it's just a bunch of board/card/casual games, but they're done really well here (apparently, you can even flip the table by flipping the Switch!).

[dueling banjos intensifies]

It's probably BS, but I still find it amusing... This is quite rare, an accusation of incestuous rape done by anti-GG.

Let them come. We may be pro-free speech, but not pro-dickwolves. They can't behave and follow rules when there's wrongthink abound.

This experience is valuable. I learned that, to gain anything worth having, I have to rise to MEET the challenge, not expect the universe's difficulty to lower itself. There's no reward without risk and frustration. Free rides and shortcuts ALWAYS have strings attached.

So bloody true.

The greatest irony... Giant Bomb was created after Gerstmann was fired by GameSpot... Only to end up getting purchased by the same company that owns GameSpot (and GameFAQs...).
