Streets Of Rage 4 is a breath of fresh air in current year. Blaze is hotter than ever, I'm so glad she didn't get censored. And game's still crushingly hard.
The opening animation shows Blaze's panties were white, I guess it's minor since she's still flashing (red instead of white) but still bugs me. Wiah there were good 2D modders around, Cherry had big ones in the concept art.
I snagged this frame from the trailer, so I'm pretty sure she was always intended to have red in this one. Where was she wearing white?
Though I figure Blaze owns more than one pair of panties so I kinda doubt it was censorship that she happened to have on a different color at one or another time. And as for Cherry...I'm fine with the fact that she's not Blaze, as long as Blaze stays Blaze. Options and variety are good.
Re-playing FO4. Want to crush some commies with Liberty Prime.
Just downloaded No Man's Sky after a friend said it's gotten a lot better. I like long, exploring atmospheric games because I play while walking on a treadmill and I like the sensation of actually walking through an atmospheric world.
I believe Hello Games said they’ll be pumping out smaller content updates for that game every month or so, so there’s a LOT of new features to try out.
No Man’s Sky is probably one of the best examples of a bad game turning great thanks to a dedicated development team.
I was heavy into Persona 5 early on in the quarantine crap. I played like 200 hours lol Its crazy how the story mirrors real life in a lot a ways, especially about the state of society and the motivations we have/don't have. Also being able to defeat the bald guy who is basically Hillary Clinton is fun lol
It’s probably a game you’ll only beat once because of how the combat works, and it’s SUPER unhistorical in terms of the story and how Roman’s actually fight, but the aesthetic of the game is phenomenal
I played the original to death and enjoy Royal. There is allot of new content and new characters/social links. Plus the new party member is great and fits into story well. She is not just shoe horned in. Plus I hear there is a story that happens after the game ends in the original... But I have not got that far yet to confirm it.
I'm still playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Yeah it's been out for like 3 months now, but damnit I still need to finish designing my island! Also been playing the new Pokémon Café Mix game, the food is so cute.
Augh, Pokemon Cafe Mix is getting rough in Master level. I'm mad I tore through so fast before the Scorbunny release. Now I can only finish 1 or 2 levels a day and that probably won't be enough to get Scorbunny in time.
Still working on Witcher 3. I blew through 1, 2 and 250 hours on 3 without feeling the fatigue, but it's beginning to creep in. Unless I'm juust putting off finishing it because I don't want the adventure to end? But I find that hard to believe; it is a really, really good game, but I dunno why so many people cite it as the GOAT
I think people like the story of CDPR and how they built themselves from nothing. It’s one thing for Ubisoft or EA to put out a game of that scope, but it is downright inspiring to see a self made game studio overcome the odds.
I found Ciri, did the battle and now we're branching out to Do Shit About It. I understand that I'm about 75% done, and this is where shit goes off the rails. So I might be a bit unfair to the game
Still, though. Nier: Automata and Hollow Knight have hit me harder. I was really excited to meet Yennefer and Ciri, so maybe I just hyped myself too hard
I've been alternating between ARK and CoronaVirusSimulator2 (TheDivision2) recently, with a side of My Time at Portia - which has been surprisingly fun to play, despite a bit of weirdness to it.
Will have to see what else tries crippling my wallet before the Steam sale ends.
original deus ex, extremely recommended and extremely redpilled too, probably the most redpilled game I've ever played. you guys definitely should give it a try.
I'm juggling a few games at the moment. Working on Minecraft vanilla survival with frens (1.16.1 is sweet), playing Vermintide 2 cause it was cheap, Pokemon Cafe Mix on mobile, and I just finished the demo for Nekopara.
Still unsure about getting Nekopara, VNs are not my usual style.
Everything I've seen lately seems to be that the "new" vanilla is precisely the sorts of things that I used to really dislike and stay away from in the modded scene...
Mind you I'm one of those weird people who e.g. stuck with b1.7.3 "forever".
I played modded a bit back in the day, Direwolf pack and Agrarian Skies. I am liking vanilla now with the new nether and various tweaks and changes. Vanilla feels closer to when I played modded, so if you don't like mods from 5+ years ago you may not like vanilla now. I started following Hermitcraft (xisuma, goodtimeswithscar, ethoslab, and mumbo jumbo are good channels) to see what vanilla offers now. They do have a couple of mods, but it's not that intrusive.
I have a laptop from 2009 and no wifi at home. So I'm obviously limited in what i can play. I have been playing a great indie game called Project Zomboid which is a very challenging zombie survival game. It's extremely optimizable which allows me to play it, and doesn't require an internet connection to play single player.
It has split screen play, guns don't make you invincible and actually require you to level up your skills to be useful. The game is still in Early Access and has been in development for a long time, but it is in a very polished state at the momment.
Some key notes about the game:
There are Vehicles and they can be worked on by replacing parts which requires tools and basic knowledge to work on (you have to find magazines while you explore)
The map is insanely massive, and while you can choose 4 starting areas, with a vehicle you can travel between those areas.
There is some deep crafting elements, but it takes a good amount of in game time to really have to take advantage of most of those crafting elements.
The game is very challenging which in my opinion is a breath of fresh air in a world where AAA gaming companies have made it a staple to make a game as easy as possible so more people play it.
4 player co-op through multiplayer, however the newest beta build doesn't allow it, and the new 3D models and items in build 41 are just to good to not play that build.
Honestly? Retro games on various handhelds.
Pretty much nothing past the Dreamcast/NDS timeline. Maybe a game or two on the Switch.
Everything new on PC just looks like shit to me and the Switch store is filling up with crap.
There are a lot of youtube channels that review Nintendo store games and create "Top 10 insert genre games for the Switch". The filters on the store are indeed terrible, i just check the daily offers and then search Youtube for the review.
I never participated (or even knew about) this sub on Reddit. I was on a lot of gaming subs though that I've abandoned for months now. It got too suffocating not being able to hold a critical opinion of a preferred game or a positive opinion of a hated game. I'll hang around here a while and see what it's about.
As for what I've been playing, lately Yakuza Kiwami, Horizon Zero Dawn, and the campaigns of the old Call of Duty WW2 based games.
Got a Switch for my b-day, the indie selection on the Nintendo store is amazing. Bought Stardew valley, Children of Morta, Risk of Rain, Bloodstained - curse of the moon and Rive - ultimate edition, all great games for 20$ a pop. The only problem is that first party games NEVER go on discount. Fuck you Nintendo, i'm not paying full price for BOTW after it has been out for four goddamn years!
Just finished all of the JoJo's anime. It's fucking great and I can't wait for the inevitable part 6. Last few games I played were all of the Dooms. Didn't finish 3 because it's just awful going through all your weapons on PS4. Gonna try it on PC eventually.

Start up your copy of SOR4 and let the opening play, blink and you'll miss.
Huh, you're right. Wonder they they changed it, not like it's any more or less revealing.
Those old Lucas Arts games were tits.
Day of the Tentacle. Sam and Max Hit the Road. Monkey Island. Indiana Jones. Grim Fandango.
Back before the dark times…

Obligatory Internet Historian
that man has the best content on youtube
It’s actually impressive how they turned that game around. It’s what made me buy it on sale.
I was heavy into Persona 5 early on in the quarantine crap. I picked up Ryse: Son of Rome again.
There’s just something so magical about bringing the light of civilization to the vile, disgusting, sub-humans of briton
Shame the game didn’t do well. I always thought it was fun
It’s probably a game you’ll only beat once because of how the combat works, and it’s SUPER unhistorical in terms of the story and how Roman’s actually fight, but the aesthetic of the game is phenomenal
Being an outlaw in Red Dead Redemption 2
Can never go wrong with this game!
I’m playing Persona 5 Royal right now. Just like any Atlus developed game it is great!
Is it worth it to get that game if you already played the original to death?
I played the original to death and enjoy Royal. There is allot of new content and new characters/social links. Plus the new party member is great and fits into story well. Haha same here

I just finished Dragon Quest 11
I just finished that as well! Great game and installment in the Dragon Quest series
Batman Arkham Knight, I forgot how much fun this game was
I will second this. Persona 4 Golden is one of the best JRPGs I have ever played. It’s always a great time

Yeah you’re pretty close to being done. Both the expansions are worth it, if you haven’t burned out yet. Hearts of Stone is profound in my opinion.
Yeah, I'm just dicking around doing the remaining Velen/Novigrad exploration that I was too shit to do before, and then getting into Hearts of Stone
Finishing my no-fast-travel playthough of Breath of the Wild.
I've been alternating between ARK and CoronaVirusSimulator2 (TheDivision2) recently, with a side of My Time at Portia - which has been surprisingly fun to play, despite a bit of weirdness to it.

I just started watching that one. So far so good.
Hades, the new rouge-lite From Supergiant. Currently in early access but they just did a nice content drop. Just completed my 100th run.
original deus ex, extremely recommended and extremely redpilled too, probably the most redpilled game I've ever played. you guys definitely should give it a try.

How are you finding Minecraft?

It's on steam, it's on a summer sale.
Oh and congrats on your move to .win. :D
I picked up Volcanoid tonight on Steam. Pretty good Co op game. Crafting and combat but no food/drink.
Finally finished all of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Silly me didn't realize it was a sequel to Human Revolution, so thinking my next plan is to fire that puppy up
Honestly? Retro games on various handhelds.
Pretty much nothing past the Dreamcast/NDS timeline. Maybe a game or two on the Switch. Everything new on PC just looks like shit to me and the Switch store is filling up with crap.
I expect Nintendo to get it sorted out right after they figure out how "online multiplayer" works.

Polly bridge 2
Recently discovered Xbox game pass. Been trying all kinds of games but recently settled on shadows of war middle earth.
Awesome story if you liked the movies

Finished the first half of Ghost in the Shell 2045 dubbed (I now understand why some hate Purin).
Started Blood -C, re-watching Lupin III pt2 or Spider Man TAS/X-Men TAS when I don't want to pay full attention but need some noise to keep me awake.
