It's weird. I know "heh gamers" Twitter is a thing, but sometimes it seems artificially boosted.
First tweet gets 20k likes, any follow-up stuff they post in reply to it gets about 100 likes. Checking their follower counts for increases and you see it only goes up by about 30. I've personally had like 150+ followers gained for a tweet that got 2000 likes.
I'm aware it's a current meme and clout-chasing on the internet is a thing, but next time you see it, check the poster's metrics on Socialblade.

I did use Gab for a while. There were more people being blatantly racist on there than I usually see on Twitter, but it wasn't a overwhelming majority.
